The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the ICE – Italian Trade Agency have tasked Invitalia with putting in place an additional measure to support the digitalization process of SMEs.

The “Digital Export Bonus” initiative envisages the granting of contributions as “de minimis” aid for the purpose of developing the internationalization activities of micro manufacturing companies, networks, and consortia.

4,000 euros to micro companies to pay for admissible expenses of not less than 5,000 euros, excluding VAT; 22,500 euros to networks and consortia to pay for admissible expenses of not less than 25,000 euros, excluding VAT.

The MAECI-ICE Convention for the extraordinary promotion of Made-in-Italy products provides to support the digitalization process of SMEs to enable them to expedite and consolidate the export and internationalization activities outlined in the strategy set forth in the Pact for Export.

A further provision will define the application forms for beneficiaries, the deadlines for submitting the contribution admission and payment application forms as well as further documents that beneficiaries are obliged to submit, and the procedure to follow to subscribe to the list of supplier companies.
