Farnesina Secretary-General, Ambassador Ettore Sequi, was on a visit in Belgrade today, where he met with Nemanja Starovic, State Secretary of Serbia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting allowed them to take stock of the bilateral cooperation between Italy and Serbia, with a particular focus on the possibility of stepping up economic cooperation, including in new high-tech sectors, such as agri-tech, green transition, digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence. They also addressed regional issues, starting from the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue, facilitated by the European Union and by the Open Balkan initiative.
