Today the Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ettore Francesco Sequi, received the Ambassador of Poland to Italy, Anna Maria Anders, to exchange views on bilateral relations, the current situation in Ukraine and the latest developments in the Western Balkans.
The meeting was an opportunity to reiterate the importance of political dialogue and economic relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Sequi and Ambassador Anders underlined once again the importance of the financial, military and humanitarian support provided to Ukraine in response to the unjustified invasion by Russia. They also agreed that remaining vigilant regarding the safety and security of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is a crucial issue.
