Leonardo-Iveco Consortium wins tender for light armoured vehicles in Brazil

The Leonardo-Iveco Consortium has won a major tender for the supply of 8×8 Centauro II armoured vehicles for the Brazilian Army.

The contract is expected to be signed around 5 December. The Consortium will have to provide two examples of the armoured vehicle within six months, followed by the first supply of 96 armoured vehicles, for about EUR 900 million, which could reach up to 220 vehicles, worth about EUR 2 billion.
