The 14th Plenary Meeting of the Expert Officers from the Guardia di Finanza serving abroad continues today at the International Conference Hall of the Farnesina.
Today’s meeting will begin with the addresses by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Riccardo Guariglia, and the Commander General of the Inland Revenue Police, Giuseppe Zafarana. They will be followed by the speech of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani.
The works, which began yesterday at the General Headquarters of the Inland Revenue Police, envisage the participation of the 25 attachés posted to Diplomatic Missions abroad, designated in accordance with the MAECI-GdF Memorandum of Understanding of May 2021. It is the main event to delve into the structured cooperation established between the Foreign Ministry and the Inland Revenue Police in many areas. During the two days’ work, updated information on issues of common interest for the two Administrations and guidance on the specific geographical contexts in which they operate will be shared with the Inland Revenue Police Officers, who operate abroad with tasks related to the fight against tax evasion and economic-financial crime.
