The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will preside over the presentation of initiatives aimed at strengthening “Roots Tourism” funded by the Development and Cohesion Fund. The conference, held at Villa Madama, will be moderated by journalist Giovanna Pancheri.
The event will include the participation of the President of the National Italian American Foundation, Robert V. Allegrini, and the Adviser to the Vice Presidency of the Council of Ministers for Local Authorities and European Programmes, Carmine De Angelis.
Following the official greetings, a Round Table will take place with the Implementing Bodies of the initiatives to strengthen “Roots Tourism” funded by the Development and Cohesion Fund. Participants will include: Antonio Tajani, Mayor of Fiumicino, Senator Mario Baccini, President of the Province of Avellino, Rizieri Buonopane, President of Sport e Salute, Marco Mezzaroma, Chief Executive Officer of Sport e Salute, Diego Nepi Molineris, and President of the Monti Ausoni and Lago di Fondi Regional Natural Park, Giuseppe Incocciati.
At the conclusion of the Round Table, Minister Tajani will present awards to the representatives of the Implementing Bodies and will close the event with his concluding remarks.
