“I received the news of the death of Barbara De Anna with deep sorrow. My thoughts go out to her family, to whom I extend my sincerest condolences”.
The statement came from Minister for Foreign Affairs Emma Bonino, according to whom “we are moved to embrace the family of Barbara De Anna, in tribute to all those who, as she did, contribute their efforts to cooperation even in the remotest and most difficult crisis areas, incarnating the values of Italy at its best, and who with courage and dignity labour daily in the interests of a fairer and safer world”.
