The Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Benedetto Della Vedova, is visiting the Principality of Monaco today, 31 March 2015.
Della Vedova will have meetings with representatives of key institutions, including the Minister of State, Michel Roger; the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Gilles Tonelli; the Minister for Finance, Jean Castellini; the Minister for the Interior, Paul Masseron; the Minister for Infrastructure, the Environment and Planning, Marie-Pierre Gramaglia; and the Minister for Social Affairs, Stephane Valeri.
Talks will focus on bilateral relations in the various sectors of cooperation and on the negotiations for the Principality of Monaco’s EU Accession Agreement, which formally opened in Brussels on 18 March along with those for Andorra and the Republic of San Marino.
Discussions will underscore both sides’ interest in further strengthening bilateral economic relations and trade, after the recent signing of the agreement on information exchanges on tax matters.
During his visit, Under-Secretary Della Vedova will sign an agreement between Italy and the Government of Monaco on Development Cooperation matters.
