The Farnesina can announce that a team of technical experts, supported by the Italian Embassy in Cairo, will be visiting the airport at Sharm el-Sheikh tomorrow, 11 November 2015, to analyse the security measures adopted for Italian aircraft departing for Italy. The aim of the visit is to provide greater protection for Italian nationals.
The technical mission is composed of specialists from the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), airport security experts, and representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs and other competent government departments. It will complete the flight security measures already adopted at ENAC’s request by Italian charter companies.
