The appointment of Maestro Noseda for a five-year period, commenicing with the 2017-2018 season, was the unanimous choice of the Kennedy Center’s Search Committee. Mr Noseda will now join the other top Italian conductors currently in the United States: Riccardo Muti at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Fabio Luisi at New York’s Metropolitan Opera.
