Foreign Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, welcomed with great satisfaction the announcement by the Authorities of the Democratic Republic of the Congo who, through the Italian Embassy in Kinshasa, authorized the reunification of another 66 children with their adoptive families in Italy.
This new group of children adds on to the 14 children already authorised in mid-February. Minister Gentiloni, in the hope that the fruitful cooperation under way with the Congolese Authorities might continue, confides that the International Adoption Committee will now expedite the fulfilment of procedures so that the children might soon embrace their adoptive families.
