Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Sen. Della Vedova, today opened the workshop “Cooperation for growth: the business networks model and its impact on economic development”, organised by the MAECI in partnership with Retimpresa.
The workshop is part of the “diplomacy for growth” initiatives and was promoted by the Legal Affairs Service with the aim of informing Italy’s foreign partners on the “business network” system and especially on the value added that it produces in a growth perspective, particularly in those Countries in which development hinges on small and medium-sized enterprises. In his speech, Undersecretary Della Vedova emphasised that “the network favours the internationalisation of SMEs and can constitute the interface through which SMEs relate to large groups while remaining competitive on international markets.”
The workshop was attended by experts and representatives of several important networks grouping together companies operating in the medical, nautical, agricultural, handicrafts and engineering sectors.
