One hundred days after the terrorist attack, which left 20 people dead, of which 9 Italian nationals, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Benedetto Della Vedova, will be in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 12 and 13 October, where he will meet the Italians resident in the capital city and pay tribute to the victims at the site of the massacre.
In Dhaka, Senator Della Vedova will meet some members of the Bangladeshi government, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, to discuss bilateral issues such as the fight against terrorism, economic cooperation opportunities and migration phenomena.
