In relation to the death of Italian citizen Pamela Canzonieri, we hereby inform that the Italian Embassy in Brazil and the Consulates in Recife and Salvador have provided maximum assistance to the family of the victim and are now in close contact with local Authorities to quickly see to the repatriation of the victim’s body in Italy.
The case is receiving utmost attention from top Foreign Ministry officials, who have contacted Brazilian Authorities to shed light as quickly as possible on the tragic death of Pamela Canzonieri.
