Undersecretary Amendola continues on his institutional mission in Australia

Continues on his institutional mission in Australia Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Vincenzo Amendola arrived in Melbourne on Thursday, after spending two days of his institutional mission in Sydney.

In the afternoon, Mr Amendola participated in launching a market survey on Made in Italy products in Australia commissioned by the Consulate General, at an event attended by representatives of the Italian business community.

“The Italian Government has accomplished several structural reforms to attract more foreign investors, also from Australia. The Australian market is dynamic and has great potential in several key sectors for our enterprises, ranging from infrastructures to energy, defence to agri-food and fashion,” explained Mr Amendola.

On Thursday afternoon, the Undersecretary met with the young members of the ‘new generation’ of migrants. The Italian official pointed out Italy’s commitment to support the new generations of Italian migrants to Australia, where the Embassy and the Consulates have organised multiple initiatives, including informative seminars and website portals dedicated to young Italians.”

Undersecretary Amendola’s mission will end on Friday, in Melbourne.
