“I am deeply grieved by the tragic death of five diplomats from the United Arab Emirates in yesterday’s attack in Kandahar, Afghanistan”, said Angelino Alfano, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The minister also mentioned the injury suffered by Juma al Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador to the Country.
“On behalf of Italy, allow me to convey our condolences to the Government of the Emirates and reiterate Italy’s firmest condemnation of all forms of terrorism,” Minister Alfano added.
