“I express my firmest condemnation and the grief and closeness of Italy to the Swedish State and people for the terrible attack of a few hours ago in Stockholm,” said Angelino Alfano, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
“To the families of the victims, I convey my warmest solidarity. To all the people injured, I pass my wishes for a quick recovery. After the attacks which in the past few weeks hit London and St. Petersburg, we witness yet another tragic attack on our cities, lifestyle and our most profound values. Italy, also in its position as rotating President of the G7 and as a member of the UN Security Council, will continue to fight for international peace and security and against terrorism.”
