Minister Di Maio participates in the G7 and NATO Foreign Ministers’ meetings (12-15 May)

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, is in Germany starting today to attend the G7 and NATO Foreign Ministers’ meetings.
The G7 Foreign Ministers will meet from 12 to 14 May at Weissenhaus castle, in Schleswig-Holstein, to discuss the war in Ukraine and its consequences at the regional and global level, the climate crisis and its impact on security, as well as the resilience of democracies, China and the Indo-Pacific, and Africa. Minister Di Maio will open the exchange of views on the Middle East and North Africa. On 14 and 15 May, an informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers will be held in Berlin to discuss the impact of the situation in Ukraine on Euro-Atlantic security,  and the preparation for the forthcoming NATO Summit in Madrid.

On the sidelines of both events, Minister Di Maio is expected to hold bilateral meetings.
