“Italy expresses its firm condemnation for the ballistic missile test conducted last night by North Korea. The test represents another clear violation of numerous United Nations Security Council resolutions. North Korea’s missile and nuclear programme constitutes a serious threat to international peace and security and to global non-proliferation regulations.
North Korea must immediately stop developing this programme and reconsider the path undertaken to challenge the international community and towasrds self-isolation.
Italy will continue to contribute to giving a firm and cohesive response by the international community.”
