In February 2015, Elia and Zaccaria Hafner, 11 and 9 years old, were taken by their mother – a German-Moroccan citizen – first in Germany and then in Morocco. Last Friday, the children’s parents finally reached an agreement and they landed at Malpensa this morning with the children. It marks a big success for an excellent act of diplomacy.”
