​Alfano: “Deep sorrow for the killing of 14 U.N. peacekeepers”

“I wish to expresses my deep sorrow for the killing of 14 U.N. peacekeepers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I condemn this heinous attack unequivocally. We stand close to the families of the victims and wish the wounded a speedy recovery. Italy honours the dedication and commitment shown by the U.N. peacekeepers to contributing to the stabilization of many troubled parts of the world,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano.
