The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano said “Farah has been found and is safe thanks to prompt action by the Pakistani Authorities after being briefed by Italy. The Italian Embassy in Islamabad, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is following the case very closely and taking all the necessary steps to facilitate her return to Italy, once the formalities have been completed”.
