Today, at the Farnesina, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay, Luis Alberto Castiglioni, accompanied by Paraguayan Member of Parliament, Sebastian Garcia.
The two ministers reviewed the issues of mutual interest on the bilateral and regional level and discussed negotiations for the Association Agreement between the EU and Mercosur.
They agreed on the need to re-launch relations between the two countries which have always been friendly, also due to the presence of the descendants of Italian immigrants in Paraguay who make up more than 30 percent of the population.
