Two Memoranda of Understanding were signed today in Beijing, opening the Chinese market to the export of Italian beef meat and rice. It represented an important step towards overcoming the barriers to the export of Italian agro-food products to China.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Health, in close collaboration with the Ministries of Agriculture and Health, as well as with the competent Chinese authorities, has speeded up the signing of these protocols, which will concretely help Italian exports at this, particularly challenging time.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also through the diplomatic-consular network, is fully committed to tackling the Covid-19 pandemic, not only in terms of supplying health materials and repatriating compatriots but also in supporting the productive and entrepreneurial world.
