Notice to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – The repatriation of compatriot Marco Raffaeli has begun

The Air Force flight granted by the Prime Minister’s Office from Ciampino today departed from Ciampino. It will take compatriot Marco Raffaeli, the victim of a severe road accident in Bali on 20 April, back to Italy in the next few days. The humanitarian operation was made possible thanks to the incessant work of the Italian Embassy in Jakarta, that, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has followed the compatriot’s case from the beginning, providing the necessary assistance to his family members, in constant contact with the local authorities and the hospital facilities where Mr Raffaeli was being treated.
