Italy condemns the rocket attacks against a base of the International Coalition to Combat Daesh in Erbil (Iraqi Kurdistan), which caused the death of an employee of the base and the wounding of numerous soldiers and civilians.
We express our solidarity with the victim’s family and wish those involved in the attack a prompt recovery.
Italy confirms its commitment, alongside the Iraqi Government and the Kurdistan Regional Authorities, to fight against terrorism and violent extremism and restore security and stability to Iraq and the entire region.
