Yesterday, Deputy Minister Benedetto Della Vedova visited “Trois auteurs d’Histoire”, an exhibition sponsored by the Foreign Ministry and the Italian Embassy in Kinshasa and dedicated to the memory of Ambassador Luca Attanasio and his commitment to supporting art and culture in Congo.
Showing the works of three Congolese artists – Nelson Makengo, Georges Senga and Pamela Tulizo – the exhibition, curated by ArtNoble Gallery, aims to showcase the country’s contemporary art scene, through a glimpse into the different realities from which the artists come.
The Deputy Minister was greeted by the Director of the ArtNoble Gallery, Matthew Noble, and the co-director Alice Previtali, Gabriele Salmi, President of the cultural association Casa Degli Italiani, the curator of the exhibition Angelica Litta Modignani and two of the three artists, Nelson Makengo and Pamela Tulizo.
