“Every Young Person Matters” is the project’s name to prevent school drop-outs in Albania secondary schools. The project is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with a 4 million euros contribution.
The initiative, developed with UNICEF, aims to foster the inclusion of young people in the training and education system in Albania. The project will be implemented through a programme that offers education, employment and vocational training opportunities, improving school drop-out prevention measures, and strengthening young people’s resilience, life skills, and employability.
To further strengthen bilateral cooperation in migration, the project will contribute to achieving the objectives of a specific memorandum of understanding under negotiation with Albania to prevent the phenomenon of unaccompanied minors arriving in our country.
