Dispatching of humanitarian supplies for the Ukrainian population

Today, a humanitarian ground transport of the Italian Cooperation left the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD) in Brindisi to reach the collection centre in the city of Niemce in Poland to deliver about 20 tons of relief supplies and housing goods (including tents, blankets, generators, tent stoves, lamps, and hygiene and first-aid kits) for the Ukrainian population. The operation was conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in coordination with the Department of Civil Protection and within the framework of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
