Italy firmly condemns the attack launched by Al Shabaab against the Hayat Hotel in Mogadishu, expresses its sympathy with the families of the victims and with the Somalian people and institutions and calls for the perpetrators to be quickly brought to justice. Italy remains in the forefront in combating terrorism and all forms of violent extremism.
