Cooperation has started between the Farnesina’s Crisis Unit and A2A to spread a culture of travel safety, with special reference to business trips and as part of business activities.
With the goal of promoting cooperation between the public and the private sectors, A2A, in line with the already consolidated “Travel Security” devices, has incorporated the assessments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation into its corporate documentation. At the same time, it promoted an internal information campaign aimed at encouraging informed and responsible travel choices, and extended to all its employees an invitation to download the “Unità di Crisi” [Crisis Unit] App and register their business trips abroad on the Dove siamo nel Mondo [Where we are in the World] portal.
The collaboration confirms and strengthens the principles found in A2A’s “Security” guidelines, which are consistent with the support of the Farnesina’s Crisis Unit to protect Italians travelling abroad. The Company has always paid attention to the culture of security, drawing inspiration from the principles of “Duty of Care” – the employer’s duty to take care of his or her employees – and the new ISO 31030 Travel Risk Management international standard. The Life Company commits itself day after day to offering services that are essential for people’s quality of life and believes caring for its employees is the main part of its company mission.
All services of the Crisis Unit are directly accessible to businesses and citizens, and include the travel advice portal Viaggiare Sicuri [Travel Safely], with up-to-date profiles on over 220 Countries and territories, the Dove siamo nel Mondo registration site and, above all, the new “Unità di Crisi” App. The App is completely free of charge, offers access to both portals and enables geolocalisation to receive emergency messages, while keeping personal data safe. For businesses and organisations that wish to do so, the Crisis Unit offers free integration of its services with the company’s IT systems to enable the automatic registration of business trips.
The Farnesina’s Crisis Unit constantly supports the Italian people, in Italy and abroad, in the name of digital transition and the constant improvement of the services provided.
