G7 Ministers of Foreign Affairs’ statement condemning the new ballistic missile launch by North Korea

The G7 Ministers of Foreign Affairs have signed a statement condemning a new ballistic missile launch by North Korea into the Sea of Japan. “This act of provocation by North Korea represents a serious threat to regional peace and international stability, yet another act by North Korean authorities that undermines the non-proliferation policy”, commented Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister OF Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani. “With our G7 colleagues, we maintain a constant liaison on all major international issues, starting with the war in Ukraine, so we wanted to express our strongest condemnation for this unacceptable act that risks causing further destabilisation of the Indo-Pacific area”, the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
