Videoconference of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, with the Italian Ambassadors in Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon and the Consul General in Jerusalem

ROME – The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, held a videoconference in the morning from the Crisis Unit, together with the Secretary General and the Head of Cabinet of the Farnesina, with the Italian Ambassadors in Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon and with the Consul General in Jerusalem.

The meeting was organised to examine the regional situation, precisely that of the Italians in Gaza, northern Israel and southern Lebanon.

The entire diplomatic-consular network in the area mobilised to follow the evolution of events and keep the emergency plans active in coordination with the Crisis Unit to respond to every need.

The traditional tourist destinations of Italians in Egypt and Jordan are not affected by the events in the region. However, the invitation to travellers to register on the www.dovesiamonelmondo.it platform and report their presence anywhere in the world remains valid.
