Yesterday, the Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, met with the Minister of Development and Foreign Trade of the Netherlands, Reinette Klever.
The exchange between the two countries’ government representatives focused above all on their respective development cooperation strategies. Another crucial topic of the meeting was the strategic partnerships of common interest with the countries of the African continent, also from the overall perspective of the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment, the Global Gateway, and the Mattei Plan.
The exchange on migration policies, the migration-development nexus, and the Rome Process was also significant.
