The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Edmondo Cirielli, today received the Slovak Secretary of State for Foreign and European Affairs, Marek Estok, at the Foreign Ministry for an exchange of views that reaffirmed the excellent state of bilateral relations.
Undersecretary Cirielli stated: “Our bilateral political dialogue is proceeding with intensity and great satisfaction: Eastern Europe’s economic growth is an absolute priority for Italy and a great opportunity for our country’s companies.” He discussed with his counterpart the prospects for further strengthening cooperation with Slovakia and also made an overview of some of the main issues of common interest at European and international levels, including energy, connectivity, immigration and support to Ukraine.
