The Alberto Trentini case

In relation to the case of Alberto Trentini, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, stated: “On behalf of the Italian Government, I express relief at Alberto Trentini’s first phone call to his family after 181 days of detention in Venezuelan prisons. This step forward is the result of lengthy diplomatic mediation. I once again thank Nicolas Maduro for his attention to the matter and hope that a swift release of our Italian national can be achieved”.
