Foreign Ministers Antonio Tajani and Guido Crosetto will participate in the “2+2” (Foreign and Defence) Ministerial consultations between Italy and the United Kingdom. Foreign Minister Yvette Cooper and Defence Minister John Healey will be present on the British side.
The event – which, due to bad weather conditions, will be held in VTC – is part of the strong collaboration between Italy and the United Kingdom within the G7, NATO, and Quint, with the aim of strengthening the bilateral partnership, including in the field of security and defence. The agenda will consist of bilateral meetings and then a meeting between the four Ministers to discuss security and the fight against hybrid threats; the latest developments in Ukraine and the Middle East (Gaza, the future post-UNIFIL scenario in Lebanon and Iran), and security in the Western Balkans.
