The Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels presents a preview of “Snow White”, the new performance of the Brussels City Ballet company, led by Aki Nishio, the premiere of which is scheduled for 13 January.
The Brussels City Ballet, which now has fifteen dancers, a third of whom coming from Italy, will give a short demonstration of “Snow White” on 9 January at the Institute’s premises. This will be followed by a talk about the beauty of ballet and the hard training behind it. There will also be a meeting between two passionate dancers, one Italian and one Belgian, who will talk about how they work together through their passion for ballet. The audience will be invited to actively participate in the event through a question and answer session.
“Snow White”, which will be staged at the Bozar cultural centre, is based on the Grimm Brothers’ fairy tale and reproduces the typical style of a Disney animation movie.
