A special celebration of International Women’s Day today at the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague, with the opening of the multimedia exhibition “In3cci. Tre donne in arte” (In3cci. Three women in art), organised by the Institute in cooperation with Studio Lovecchio in Prague and under the patronage of the Committees of Italian abroad (Comites) of the Czech Republic and the Associazione per l’Italia nel Mondo (AIM).
The event will be held in the presence of the Deputy Head of Mission of the Italian Embassy in Prague, Counsellor Laura Calligaro, as well as numerous guests, and will be entirely dedicated to female creativity through the presentation of the work of three female artists who will discuss their different research with art historian Marisa Milella. The programme includes the presentation of the book by Francesca Palumbo, Hai avuto la mia vita (published by Besa muci, Literary Prize “Terre di Puglia” 2023), the vernissage of the exhibition Diavolerie e… by Annarita Scivittaro and the screening of the video “Fegatini”, dedicated to Scivittaro’s artistic production, by the director, theatre designer, scriptwriter, actress, illustrator, cartoonist and graphic novelist Nole Biz. The exhibition, set up in the Baroque Chapel and in the Chapter House of the Italian Cultural Institute, will be open to the public until Friday 22 March, with free admission.
