On 5 September, Italian writer Paolo Rumiz took part in an important literary event, organised in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Ljubljana, which took place at the headquarters of the Slovene Writers’ Association.
As part of the 39th Vilenica International Literary Festival, titled “Brave New World – Icarus 2.0“, which this year focused on the role of artificial intelligence in the creation of literary texts, the Italian Cultural Institute of Ljubljana, in collaboration with the Slovene Writers’ Association (DSP), hosted the author Paolo Rumiz. He participated in the literary readings “Literarna zagonetka“, reading excerpts from his book Song for Europe.
The event, moderated by Dražen Dragojević, also featured the following authors: Lamija Begagić (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Efstatia Paliodzika (Greece), Robert Şerban (Romania), Dominik Srienc (Austria), and Jernej Županič (Slovenia).
