The 27th edition of the Algiers International Book Fair was held at the Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes in the Algerian capital, with the participation of the Italian Embassy in Algeria and the Italian Cultural Institute of Algiers, in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency and the “Roma” Italian School.
This year, Italy was represented by several prominent Italian writers, who shared their works and dialogued with Algerian audiences. Their presence highlighted Italy’s commitment to promoting Italian literature and strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
The programme of events included literary meetings, book presentations and exchanges between authors, translators, journalists, and readers. It was an opportunity to discover the latest trends in Italian literature and to discuss the themes shaping contemporary Italian culture.
