The curtain rises on the Sanremo Giovani World Tour on 2 May in Montreal with a highly anticipated concert at the Leonardo da Vinci Centre. The tour is promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Rai.
A prime example of cultural diplomacy that honours the past while looking to the future, the tour will take the four finalists of Sanremo Giovani 2025 abroad: the winner Settembre, Alex Wyse, Maria Tomba, Vale LP, and Lil Jolie. The tour will offer them a major international showcase, making them new ambassadors for Italian music, which has always been capable of overcoming geographical and linguistic barriers and continuously renewing itself, successfully engaging with the contemporary global music scene. The artists will alternate between songs from their own repertoires and unforgettable tracks from the history of Italian music, songs long embedded in both the Italian and international collective memory.
Since 2019, the Sanremo Giovani World Tour has successfully promoted emerging artists from the Italian music scene, bringing them to perform on stages around the world with wide participation and strong audience engagement.
This edition of the Sanremo Giovani World Tour will visit five cities in North America during the first half of May: Montreal, Toronto, Miami, New York, and Chicago, representing an important opportunity to strengthen the presence of our music in the international scene. The initiative will engage effectively with local cultural offerings through partnerships with prestigious theatres and the involvement of radio stations and media outlets within the industry.
