The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and MIdJ – the Association of Italian Jazz Musicians – announce the groups selected by the evaluation committee for the project “OltreConfine – Italian jazz worldwide”. The project aims to promote and enhance contemporary Italian jazz music on the international stage.

Open to all musicians aged 18 and over, the initiative is intended to support the presence of Italian jazz artists at major international festivals, clubs, and cultural venues, by providing full or partial coverage of the costs required to perform concerts, workshops, courses, and other related activities.

The OltreConfine committee – composed of Maria Pia De Vito (singer, composer, and educator), Maurizio Giammarco (saxophonist, composer, and educator), Ashley Kahn (music historian, educator, and author), and Stefano De Angelis (official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) – selected the winners based on the criteria outlined in the official guidelines published at: https://musicisti-jazz.it/oltreconfine/.
