The Brussels date marked the end of the 2025 edition of the Sanremo Giovani World Tour, the project resulting from a collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and RAI.
Since 2019, the Sanremo Giovani World Tour has successfully promoted emerging artists of the Italian music scene, taking them to perform on stages all over the world. This year’s edition was no exception, enjoying great success and reaffirming the undeniable power of contemporary Italian music to captivate a diverse, global audience.
The tour started on 2 May from Montreal: Settembre, winner of Sanremo Giovani 2024, performed alongside fellow finalists Maria Tomba, Alex Wyse, the Vale LP duo, and Lil Jolie. Alternating between original pieces and classic Italian covers, the artists engaged audiences in Montreal and Toronto, before heading to the United States for performances in Miami, New York, and Chicago.
For the Asian leg of the tour — held in Beijing and Osaka during Expo events — the baton was passed to a new quartet: Maria Tomba, Angelica Bove, Yuman, and Lor3n. The final concert took place in Brussels on 3 June as part of celebrations for Italy’s Republic Day. Angelica Bove, Maria Tomba, and Yuman reunited with Settembre to close the tour with a moving performance warmly received by the audience.
