The Antonio Forcione Quartet performed at the Macedonia Philharmony Hall in Skopje. The event was organized with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Skopje and the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade.
The performance took the audience on a fascinating musical journey, rich in influences and evocative atmospheres from all over the world: from the romanticism of Mediterranean music to the seductive and intense rhythms of Brazil and Africa, passing through Central America to the improvisational freedom of contemporary jazz.
Accompanied by musicians Jenny Adejayan on cello, Matheus Nova on acoustic bass and Jansen Santana on percussion, Forcione enchanted the audience with his mastery of the 6- and 12-string guitars and the oud, created according to his specific instructions. His instrumental virtuosity, combined with the charisma, passion and subtle humour with which he introduced his pieces, made the musical experience even more engaging, creating an immediate bond with the audience.
