On Wednesday, 22 October, the Italian Ambassador to Dublin, Nicola Faganello, welcomed the young musicians participating in the exchange and collaboration initiative between the Monteverdi Music Conservatory of Bolzano and the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) at the local Italian Cultural Institute. Students from around the world participated in a challenging first week of masterclasses in Dublin under the guidance of professors from both prestigious institutions. The week in Dublin concluded on Friday, 24 October with a performance by all participants in the RIAM’s evocative White Recital Hall, offering the large audience the opportunity to appreciate the musical fruits of the study and joint work of these young talents. The initiative – promoted and organized by Professor Marco Bronzi, Director, Professor Giorgia Alessandra Brustia, Head of Keyboard Faculty at the Monteverdi Music Conservatory, and Professor Peter Tuite, Head of Keyboard Faculty at RIAM, and supported by the Italian Cultural Institute in Dublin—continued in Bolzano with two days of masterclasses and new final performances.
