MacFrut 2019

Today the Farnesina hosts the presentation of “Macfrut 2019” to the members of the African Diplomatic Corps and to representatives of the world of Italian business and culture.  Macfrut is an important international fruit and vegetable fair organised by Cesena Fiere S.p.A. in partnership with the Region of Piedmont: in its last edition, it had an attendance of more than 43,000 visitors and in 2019 will be dedicated to Sub-Saharan Africa. The presentation will schedule remarks by the Director General for Globalisation and Global Issues of the MAECI, Minister Plenipotentiary Massimo Gaiani, the Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, Minister Plenipotentiary Giuseppe Mistretta, the President of Cesena Fiere S.p.A. Renzo Piraccini and representatives of ICE, Assafrica and the Region of Piedmont.
