Minister Luigi Di Maio met with the Council of Delegates of the Italian-Latin American Institute (IILA) at the organization’s headquarters.
For Italy’s foreign policy towards Latin America and the Caribbean, the Institute plays a traditional role as a bridge between our country and the South Atlantic coast.
IILA brings together Italy and 20 Latin American countries: founded in 1966 in Rome, its aim is to develop, coordinate and disseminate research and documentation on the problems and prospects of member countries in the cultural, scientific, social and development cooperation fields.
