The recent acquisitions of the Farnesina Collection include the illustrations of Elisa Talentino (Ivrea 1981): “Tuffo” (2020), “Salto” (2019), “Sisterhood” (2018) and “Il Barone Rampante” (2019).

Elisa Talentino is an artist working in illustration, printmaking, painting and animation. She has created illustrations for Italian and international magazines and newspapers such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, La Repubblica, Corriere della Sera, La Stampa and a number of publishing houses.

Projects worthy of note include “Tavola”, created for Einaudi as the cover of “Il danzatore dell’acqua”, the Italian edition of the novel by Ta-Nehisi Coate, and “Salto”, created for the “Affiche” exhibition staged in Cremona’s public spaces in 2019. The artist’s “Sisterhood” graced the cover of Daniela Dawn’s book “Qual è la via del vento”, for Le Edizioni E/O, and “Il Barone Rampante was commissioned by Castel di Lama’s Ama Festival in 2019 (AP).
