After the summer break, the double appointment with contemporary Italian art at the Farnesina Collection is back, with “I Giovedì della Collezione” and “Aperti per Voi”.

The two events, which are part of the usual opening to the public of the Farnesina Palace and its Collection of over 680 works, will be held on 14 and 29 September 2023.

29 September is part of the “Aperti per voi” (Open for You) initiative of the Italian Touring Club, which the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has joined since 2016.

On both days, in addition to visiting the main halls of the building, where the works of the greatest Italian artists of the 20th century and the thematic sections of the Farnesina Collection – including the photography and reportage gallery and the illustration and street art gallery – are set up, it will be possible to walk through the spaces of the Crisis Unit, thus discovering the main activities carried out for the protection of Italian citizens abroad and visit the “Sala delle Bandiere”, which houses the largest collection of international flags of the Italian Public Administration.
